Individual therapy is tailored to meet your needs. This is done face to face and is regarded as the very best way to have counselling. Counselling sessions are 50 minutes long and are held in a safe confidential and private room on . I offer a free, no obligation 30 minute consultation, this is usually held over the telephone.Trust is an essential part of the therapeutic relationship and this initial meeting will allow you to get a sense of whether you feel comfortable with me in order to go ahead with the counselling sessions. I offer time limited therapy which means we can work together for a set number of sessions, and I also offer open-ended therapy, this means that there is no limit to the amount of sessions available for you, so I will be available for as long as we both feel necessary. These options can be discussed at your consultation.

There are some discounts available for booking a block of 6 sessions and, there are also a limited number of reduced fee slots available for people on a low income, this can be discussed on your assessment session. Online Counselling

Online Counselling is the technology version of face to face counselling. Online counselling works in the same way as face to face counselling and is done through an online platform called "Zoom". Zoom is a secure encrypted service that allows us to conduct a counselling session online that also maintains confidentiality. The online service will work by me inviting you to join me on zoom at an agreed time and day. the session will then be conducted in the same way as a face to face sessions but with the added comfort of being in your own home. The responsibility f confidentiality at your end is yours and care should be taken to maintain that and be free from interruptions were possible. Online counselling is the same price as face to face counselling and reductions are also available for block booking. Payment for online counselling must always be made prior to the session commencing.

Prices for this type of counselling can be found on my prices page.

Telephone counselling is also a fast expanding service in the counselling world that has become another option in connecting with a counsellor. Telephone counselling can still be effective for certain issues you may be experiencing. It does however limit the issues that can be worked with due to the limited way of connection, this will be looked at before hand. Telephone counselling also offers an initial free 30 minute consultation. Telephone counselling sessions are 50 minutes long and the call is made by me to you at a mutually agreed appointment time. The working agreement contract must be electronically signed and returned before sessions can begin. There are discounts available for block bookings of 6 sessions or more sessions. Payment for telephone counselling must be made prior to the session commencing.
